SR22A Aluminum Black / Black Blade (Solid folding knife) by Italian manufactory LionSteel. A smaller version of the SR11 folding knife, which was an evolution of the historic SR-1 model and winner of the most innovative design at the Blade Show. Lightweight and durable with exclusive Solid Knife technology, the E.D.C. compact folder.

Design by Molletta, the fruit of a collaboration with a well-known and respected designer with years of experience. Michele Pensato (a.k.a. Molletta), is distinguished by a new approach to the use of materials and experiments in the application of heat treatment and the use of advanced software in the design of knives.

Sleipner - a chrome-molybdenum-vanadium, high-alloy universal tool steel blade with high wear and chipping resistance. Achieves high hardness of 60-61 HRC. Manufactured in Uddeholm steelworks in Sweden.

Blade - with Drop Point profile and clearly marked belly provides excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. The Plain blade has a Flat Grind, which perfectly shows off the matte black Mil Spec finish. The IKBS assisted flipper/projection on the underside of the blade makes it easy to open the blade. In the open position the projection acts as a hilt, protecting the hand from slipping on the blade.

IKBS - (ball bearing system) enables fast and smooth opening of the blade.

Solid Frame-Lock - reinforced, monolithic lock of the blade made of Ergal aluminum. One of the facings serving as a locking mechanism was reinforced with hardened steel insert.

RotoLock - lock with patented additional locking mechanism in the shape of titanium shield by Gianni Pauletta. When the knife is open, turning the RotoLock about 1/8 of a turn clockwise wedges the locking mechanism, preventing unintentional release of the blade lock, provides the same stability of the blade as in knives with a fixed blade.

Handle - made with Solid® Knife technology, obtained from a single piece of Ergal aluminum, machined in 4D. This results in a monolithic skeleton (body) of the highest strength, which is a solid structural element. The grip facings were CNC machined to obtain an anti-slip texture. Two-position left / right compact clip allows you to carry the knife in tip-up position. Bolted to the aluminum frame with a tungsten carbide screw/glass breaker. In the back of the linings lanyard hole, a hole for a cord.
