SR11A Aluminum Red / Satin Blade, a folding knife by Italian manufactory LionSteel with exclusive Solid Knife technology. Lightweight and durable highly technological folder, it represents the historical evolution of the iconic SR1. Winner of the knife of the year award at the Blade Show. Comes with pivot-pin-adjustment tool, a wrench to adjust the folder.

Design by Molletta, fruit of collaboration with well-known and respected designer with many years of experience. Michele Pensato (a.k.a. Molletta), is distinguished by a new approach to the use of materials and experiments in the application of heat treatment and the use of advanced software in the design of knives.

Sleipner - chrome-molybdenum-vanadium high alloy universal tool steel head with high wear and chipping resistance. Achieves high hardness of 60-61 HRC. Manufactured in Uddeholm steelworks in Sweden.

Blade - massive Drop Point profile with clearly marked belly provides excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. The smooth Plain blade has a Flat Grind that perfectly displays the matte satin finish. IKBS assisted flipper / overhang located on the underside of the blade makes it easy to open the blade. In the open position it serves as a lower guard for the one-sided hilt protecting the hand from slipping from the handle.

IKBS - (ball bearing system) allows fast, smooth opening of the blade.

Solid Frame-Lock - reinforced, monolithic locking mechanism of the Ergal aluminum blade. One of the facings serves as a locking mechanism, is reinforced with hardened steel insert.

RotoLock - lock with a patented additional locking mechanism in the shape of a titanium shield by Gianni Pauletta. When the knife is open, turning the RotoLock about 1/8 of a turn clockwise wedges the locking mechanism, preventing unintentional release of the blade lock, provides the same stability of the blade as in knives with a fixed blade.

Handle - fashionable red color. Made in Solid® Knife technology, obtained from a single piece of Ergal aluminum, processed in 4D. This provides a monolithic skeleton (body) of the highest strength, which is a solid structural element. The grip facings were CNC machined to obtain an anti-slip texture. Two-position left / right compact clip allows you to carry the knife in tip-up position. Bolted to the aluminum frame with a tungsten carbide screw/glass breaker. In the back of the linings lanyard hole, a hole for a cord.
